He just let rip.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was so distressed that she came to see me and she said, \u2018I love my job and I really wanted to work up to the eight months\u2026 but I think for my sake and the baby\u2019s sake I have to leave right now\u2026 effectively immediately I\u2019m going on leave.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Penbo said he later had second thoughts after initially accepting the woman\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIf our solution is that we get rid of her, we might as well come into work wearing loin cloths and holding clubs. We\u2019ll look like the biggest pack of Neanderthals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was horrible. I went in to work on a Sunday\u2026 sat there for an hour and I rang this bloke. He knows something\u2019s up. By the time he came in he had tears in his eyes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said, \u2018Mate, you\u2019re gone. You can\u2019t do that.
