I was 19 years old.\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cIt just so happened that President Marcos took a shine to me and he requested that I be in his company for a couple of formal events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was smart enough to say if I go somewhere on my own with the president I want Miss New Zealand to come with me, who was a friend of mine.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"668\" width=\"1024\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" data-delta=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/marcos.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><em>Image\/Getty<\/em><\/h6>\n<h3>\u201cWe ended up on his boat and somehow I end up in his private dining room on my own with him. He\u2019s sitting very, very close to me and he starts to touch me on the leg. I said, if you touch me again I\u2019m going to scream and I\u2019m going to run out of this room.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cHe said, miss, if you do that the guard at the door with the gun will shoot you. This is a true story. Absolutely true.<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI couldn\u2019t tell this story for about 20 years because it would stress me out so much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI ended up going to the Australian embassy and saying, I\u2019ve got to get out of here.
