This is a triumph of people being utterly obsessed with return on investment and having no commitment to baseline standards when it comes to the dignity of work, how you treat your own staff.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cYou would not have made $6.6 billion without the efforts of those 6,000 people you\u2019re about to sack.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u201cThey have lost the plot. They have drifted off into their own moral orbit. It\u2019s sick.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He pointed out NAB could pay SA\u2019s proposed bank tax all on its own without even noticing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><h3>\u201cThe NABs profits would \u2018plummet\u2019 from $6.6 billion to $6.51 billion &#8212; they could do that without blinking.
