Jake Lever has given the Adelaide Crows two clubs of choice — but it might not be that simple, says head of footy Brett Burton.<\/h3>\n

\u201cI can sit here right now and say it\u2019s one thing to say you that you\u2019re interested in going to one of two clubs, but there are 10 clubs in Victoria,\u201d Birdman told FIVEAA on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will negotiate with whoever will give the Adelaide footy club the best deal\u2026 we need to do what\u2019s best for the Adelaide footy club.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On Tuesday Adelaide announced Lever officially wanted out<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIn recent weeks he informed us of that,\u201d Burton said. \u201cObviously extremely disappointing from our point of view. He certainly has no issue with the footy club and the environment\u2026 it\u2019s clear this decision is financially motivated. So now we do what\u2019s best for the Adelaide footy club.\u201d<\/p>\n
