Port Adelaide chairman David Koch admits his warning to players after the club\u2019s loss to West Coast created tension within the club.<\/h3>\n

\u201cMy comments last week<\/a>\u2026 it was an emotional time, it was just the members, it was after a game where we were the better side and we blew our chance,\u201d Kochie told FIVEAA on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, you could say in retrospect it was clumsy wording, but the fact that we want success is a Port Adelaide way.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But he denied the comments had created \u201cbad blood\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cCertainly not bad blood. It created tension — that happens. That\u2019s what happens within organisations. Nothing is sugary sweet 100 per cent of the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat you need to look at is the heart of it, and the heart of it is that we are passionate about success. I don\u2019t apologise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
