Marion Council previously approved the Fleetwood\u2019s $680,000 dream house — which they\u2019ve been told now has to come down<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is just one reputable course of action for the Marion Council,\u201d Penbo wrote in The Advertiser. \u201cGet out the chequebook. Pay every cent of this money to the Fleetwoods. This decent, hardworking family has done nothing wrong. They acted in good faith.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf the council told them from the get-go that the house was too big, too intrusive, facing the wrong way, they would never have built the damned thing. Instead, the council itself told this family on three separate occasions that their proposed house met every building requirement.<\/p>\n \u201cThis council looks amateurish, incompetent.
