The majority of people who are recruited as drug mules do so voluntarily, and they do so knowing that there will be someone on the other end to collect the drugs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>LISTEN HERE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/320447007&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Rusty suggested it was unlikely traffickers would hide drugs on unsuspecting travellers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to give her the presumption of innocence, but the Colombian authorities clearly believe they have a strong enough case to hold her and to charge her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rusty said Australian authorities would be looking into who might have been on the \u201creceiving end\u201d of Cassie\u2019s 5.8kg stash of cocaine here in Australia:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s unlikely that a 22-year-old girl has the network or the connections to sell that level of cocaine in Australia. There\u2019s undoubtedly people in Australia that the Federal Police would be looking at to try and work out who would\u2019ve been on the receiving end. Irrespective of whether Ms Sainsbury knew of the cocaine in her suitcase someone was going to receive that cocaine in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis does not sound to me like something that\u2019s been organised by Colombian traffickers.
