{"id":29914,"date":"2017-03-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-03-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/will-one-of-sa-s-most-hyped-projects-ever-actually-happen\/"},"modified":"2017-03-24T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-03-24T00:00:00","slug":"will-one-of-sa-s-most-hyped-projects-ever-actually-happen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/show\/will-one-of-sa-s-most-hyped-projects-ever-actually-happen\/","title":{"rendered":"Will one of SA\u2019s most hyped projects ever actually happen?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>A barney has broken out about the reason for the hold up of the electrification of the Gawler train line.<\/h3>\n<p>Speaking to FIVEAA\u2019s Leon Byner on Friday, Jeremy Parkinson from Infrastructure Australia said he was still waiting on an updated business case for the project.<\/p>\n<p>He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe did have a business case back in 2009 that was on the infrastructure priority list and was shovel-ready at the time, but obviously that\u2019s a long time ago and we\u2019re looking for an updated business case.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>But state transport minister Stephen Mullighan contradicted the claim, saying it was \u201cstarting to sound like a series of excuse making\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve repeatedly sent them business cases for this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019ve seen the documents.
