Any name change suggestions for him? asked Laura.<\/p>\n

This week PETA called on Hunters & Collectors to change its name to something \u201cno longer synonymous with animal suffering\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just had a thought that changing their name from Hunters & Collectors would be a win-win for the band and for birds,\u201d Laura told David and Will.<\/p>\n

\u201cHunting season for ducks is underway in South Australia\u2026 and we thought it would be nice if they had a name that\u2019s no longer synonymous with animal suffering, and it might help convince other people and start the discussion about maybe taking aim at some less violent hobbies in this state.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe think the guys at Hunters & Collectors are great,\u201d Laura said, \u201cbut unfortunately when people hear the word \u2018hunting\u2019 they think of hunting animals, which is a pretty cruel activity.<\/p>\n

\u201cChanging their name would certainly get people talking about this very important issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
