I took her straight to the doctor\u2019s, then the doctor\u2019s the next day again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gail said doctors told her the accident could have been fatal:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThere\u2019s been quite a few other children around Australia\u2026 that have been injured and the same type of injuries like Marley\u2019s got,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a big wake up call I think for all parents.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gail said a few days after the accident it kicked in \u201cwhat the horrific outcome could have been\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want parents to realise that I had no idea I was putting something on my child that could potentially not bring her home that day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese hats, it\u2019s not just Marley that this has happened to.
