They didn\u2019t do that, so they failed that test as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s indefensible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd what does it say to the many golf clubs that exist in the Onkaparinga Council area that this bloke won\u2019t even go and support them?\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN HERE:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/307779930&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Former chair of the Onkaparinga Ratepayers Association John Houlahan said the golf payment was \u201cdisgusting\u201d &#8212; but warned it was only the tip of the iceberg&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is only the tip of the iceberg &#8212; there\u2019s a lot more that needs to come out about this council. There\u2019s a lot of stuff going on that needs to be looked at very closely by the elected members,\u201d Mr Houlahan said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not just his salary, he gets lots of other perks like free petrol, phone rental, home internet paid for\u2026 he\u2019s been awarded 10 additional working days leave a year, his air travel\u2019s been upgraded to business class\u2026 and so it goes on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Mr Houlahan said charging ratepayers for the golf club membership was \u201cdisgusting to put it mildly\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t believe they would try and get away with something like that.
