Her priority is drugs and prostitution,\u201d Steve said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LISTEN HERE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/296748180&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The woman was later jailed following a high-speed car chase with police while her eldest child (then eight) sat in the backseat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuite astonishingly, she has the right to just come out of jail and have those kids given back to her,\u201d Steve said. \u201cPrior to her arrest, her eight year old hadn\u2019t been to school for 18 months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer twins were born addicted to drugs\u2026where is the state\u2019s duty of care to these three kids?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shadow Families and Child Protection Minister Rachel Sanderson told Leon Byner the situation was \u201cabsolutely shocking\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHere\u2019s a mother with a known drug history\u2026 that has the right to her children after coming out of prison. It\u2019s just ridiculous.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t sound like they would be safe with their mother. I will certainly be writing to the minster.
