Tracy from The Green Dispensary in Blackwood joins FIVEAA with some tips to fight hay fever.<\/h3>\n

Thanks to some heavy rainfall, increased foliage and weeds are making for an early start to the hay fever season, but there\u2019s some things everyone can do, says Tracy.<\/p>\n

1. \u201cWear your sunnies when you\u2019re out — because it will stop pollens flying in your eyes.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. \u201cDon\u2019t hang your washing out on the line. Pollens attach to the clothing and then you wear them.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. \u201cKeep your windows shut on a windy day, because the pollens will blow inside.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAll those little things help to water it down,\u201d Tracy says.<\/p>\n

There are also some things we can do to reduce symptoms, says Tracy\u2026<\/p>\n

4. \u201cEat pineapple. Pineapple contains a lot of bromelain\u2026 it works very well. One of the best things to take.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. \u201cAlso look at your minerals. If your zinc\u2019s down your immune system\u2019s going to be down, so you\u2019re more likely to react\u2026 same with vitamin D.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
