{"id":30883,"date":"2016-07-08T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-07-08T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/victim-pushes-for-judge-to-investigate-chemo-bungle\/"},"modified":"2016-07-08T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2016-07-08T00:00:00","slug":"victim-pushes-for-judge-to-investigate-chemo-bungle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/show\/victim-pushes-for-judge-to-investigate-chemo-bungle\/","title":{"rendered":"Victim pushes for judge to investigate chemo bungle"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Chemo bungle victim Andrew Knox says a judge needs to be appointed to investigate the misdosing scandal as new revelations emerge during an inquest into the deaths of two victims.<\/h3>\n<p>Mr Knox told FIVEAA breakfast that alarm bells were ringing as an inquest into the deaths of two victims, Christopher McRae and Johanna Pinxteren, opened on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He accused the government of \u201cserially trying to avoid any outsider, including the coroner, looking into this\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN TO ANDREW KNOX:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/272663280&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomething is seriously wrong,\u201d he said. \u201cI think it\u2019s a strategy of political containment that\u2019s gone wrong that they\u2019re now trying to cover up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomebody told an untruth about the death of Mrs Pinxteren.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe minster\u2019s been clearly mislead about a death\u2026 and yet he again does nothing. And the premier sits there and does nothing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy does the minister not act?\u201d Mr Knox asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere has to be a judge appointed. It\u2019s looking more like a royal commission.
