Adelaide Crows defensive coach James Podsiadly has rejected claims Brad Crouch became upset when he was left out of the team that beat the West Coast Eagles on Saturday.<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the actual total opposite to be honest,\u201d Pods told Rowey and Bicks on the FIVEAA Sports Show.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one\u2019s happy that they don\u2019t play, but he totally understands where he\u2019s at. [Coach Don] Pyke\u2019s been really upfront with him and letting him know where he sits.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crouch played in the SANFL on Sunday where he did his chances of returning to the team no harm.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis GPS numbers are probably the best they\u2019ve been for the year, so that\u2019s really pleasing,\u201d Pods said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor him to go back and play such a positive way would suggest that he wasn\u2019t that negative about playing there.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s pushed his name up again for selection, so we\u2019ll go through that next week and hopefully the cards fall his way.<\/p>\n

But Pods cautioned: \u201cIt\u2019s a hard side to break into.\u201d<\/p>\n
