It was in the mud up there as well, he stood on their shoulders in those games.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN TO KEVIN SHEEHAN HERE:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/266909817&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>According to Sheehan, Ray &#8216;Slug&#8217; Jordan had to step in to prevent Carey from injuring himself only hours before one game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe said, \u2018Will someone go and tell that kid out in the car park to stop playing kick to kick. He\u2019ll break his leg.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was Carey standing on their shoulders in the car park of our hotel up in Canberra with a match on in two hours time,\u201d Sheehan said.<\/p>\n<p>A teammate of Carey\u2019s in that same series also impressed, said Sheehan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRobert Harvey played in the same team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were two brilliant young players. It was just a pleasure to watch them and then see how they unfolded as league players.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat you were there the day they arrived is all we can claim.
