<\/p>\nSpeaking on Channel 9\u2019s AFL Footy Show on Thursday night, reporter Damian Barrett said Crouch\u2019s future at the Crows had hit a roadblock.<\/p>\n
Contract negotiations between the Crows and Crouch have stalled, reported Barrett.<\/p>\n

But when Crows assistant James Podsiadly spoke on FIVEAA on Thursday afternoon, he said Brad Crouch was still a \u201cmassive\u201d part of the club\u2019s future despite being dropped.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe last two games has probably not been to the standard where he wants, and also where we want as a match committee,\u201d Podsiadly told Rowey and Bicks. \u201cHe\u2019ll just go back to the SANFL this week and regain a bit of form.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe thought as a match committee the best thing for Brad at the moment is just to go back to the SANFL and rack up some possessions, get some good game time in, and get some continuity with his footy.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe still believe that Brad\u2019s a massive part of our future, and we want to expose him to as many AFL games as we can, but he\u2019s just not at that level at the moment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Pods said Crouch had taken the news of his omission well.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a really good kid. He knows where his footy at.\u201d<\/p>\n
