\u201cIf he thinks he\u2019s going to go another club, or another club thinks he will be the messiah and go there and be the main target for their footy club, that is totally wrong.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is not that type of player,\u201d Carey said. \u201cHe\u2019s a third or fourth stringer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bicks dismissed the comments, saying if Jenkins continued scoring at his current rate \u2013 23 goals from seven games \u2013 he would be a strong contender to win the Coleman medal.<\/p>\n
\u201c70 goals nearly wins you the Coleman,\u201d Bicks said. \u201cHe\u2019s going all right at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bicks estimated Jenkins\u2019 current market value to be about $600,000 a year.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Crows would think this is exorbitant, but he could probably command $600,000 a year right now,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Asked if the Crows would pay that, Bicks said: \u201cThat\u2019s probably why it hasn\u2019t happened. He\u2019s said he wants to stay.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bicks named Fremantle, Essendon and Carlton as clubs who would be interested in Jenkins\u2019 services.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey would all have feelers out there, and they have the money.\u201d<\/p>\n
