Former Crows champ Patrick Dangerfield admits that suggestions he played selfish football during his time in Adelaide have touched a nerve.<\/h3>\n

Dangerfield reacted to comments the Crows were better off without him when he joined Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it does all of a sudden focus on questioning your morals in regards to me making the game all about me when I was in Adelaide, that certainly tickles the nerve at different stages,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt does amaze me the constant media attention that AFL players get these days, that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Dangerfield said he wasn\u2019t surprised by Adelaide\u2019s red-hot form.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look through the Crows list and the quality of people they have there, both on and off the field, it certainly doesn\u2019t surprise me,\u201d Dangerfield said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve played unbelievable footy throughout the first four rounds. They\u2019re in great form and arguably the best team in the competition at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
