I\u2019m not going to sit here at any stage and say the boys who I\u2019ve got working with me are not good enough to get the job done.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether in good form or bad form, AFL coaching groups are all pretty talented. I think there\u2019s not too much difference between the absolute best and the worst.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think they work really hard. They do everything they can to improve the players, and our blokes are no different,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN TO KEN HINKLEY HERE:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/259641770&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Hinkley admitted Port Adelaide\u2019s effort in their 86-point loss to GWS on Sunday was \u201cembarrassing\u201d, but said there\u2019s no easy fix.<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think anything\u2019s an easy fix when you\u2019ve delivered two out of three performances like we have,\u201d Hinkley said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou make small steps forward. The lucky thing for us is that it is round four in the AFL season and I guarantee you there will be some significant change to what\u2019s going on the AFL by round 18 or 20.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just know that seasons do strange things and for us at the moment we\u2019re having a patch that we\u2019re not happy with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hinkley took his share of the blame for the Power\u2019s sluggish start in the GWS game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe said straight away in the first couple of minutes that, gee, we\u2019re a little bit off here for some reason.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe weren\u2019t in the competitive mode that we needed to be in, and that\u2019s an indictment on me as the coach and the playing group the way we went about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said captain Travis Boak would be the first to admit he was out of form.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis own form hasn\u2019t been at the level he would like it to be at. Travis is one of our key inside mids.
