How do you live with yourself, doing something like that? Pretty ordinary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Transport Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelaidenow.com.au\/news\/south-australia\/call-for-bicycle-speed-limit-on-footpath-after-pedestrian-injuries\/news-story\/bbbfcf17b822e548c66a68d76675d6dc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stephen Mullighan says it is up to councils<\/a> to impose any bans or speed limits, but Harold Scruby from the Pedestrian Council of Australia rejected Mr Mullighan\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy is he telling us the council is at fault?\u201d he said<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN TO HAROLD SCRUBY ON FIVEAA BREAKFAST:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/258363629&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>\u201cThe first law of politics is pass the parcel: you make the law and you say it\u2019s the council\u2019s problem,&#8221; Mr Scruby said.<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cHere\u2019s the fact. In South Australia, and every other jurisdiction, the minister for roads or minister for transport is in charge of speed limits.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s got nothing to do with councils.
