Ollie Wines fronted up to the FIVEAA studios after Port Adelaide\u2019s disastrous Showdown loss, but David and Will weren\u2019t about to poke the star midfielder.<\/h3>\n

\u201cWe said before, Ollie, that we weren\u2019t going to sit here like a couple of bloody smug Crows tragics,\u201d David Penberthy told Ollie on FIVEAA breakfast. \u201cBut what do you do after a game like that?\u201d<\/p>\n

Wines said Port would use their Friday night game against Essendon to make a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only thing we can do now is respond tomorrow night. In the past we\u2019ve been known for responding after a bad game. We\u2019re up for the challenge,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Wines said players had been put under the blowtorch during the week. <\/h3>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re going to expect some pretty honest feedback from the coaches and obviously the media and our fans during the week.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw a lot of disappointing edits on behalf on a lot of players and the team as a whole,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

Ollie refused to use injuries to key players as an excuse for the team\u2019s wobbly start to the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone has injuries, unfortunately for us they\u2019ve been to some pretty important players early on. The good thing is they\u2019re not too major and we\u2019ll have the boys back in the next couple of weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n
