One young foreign backpacker continues to recover in hospital and another has been released after an alleged sex attack in the Coorong, southeast of Adelaide.<\/h3>\n

Fishermen have described the moment a terrified young European backpacker emerged from sand dunes along the Coorong, naked, bleeding and begging for their help.<\/p>\n

The woman screamed “Get me out of here, get me out of here! He’s going to kill us all”, one of the fishermen, Abdul-Karim Mohammed, told 7News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We were shocked when we seen her and then we go, ‘There’s something really bad going on here,’ ” Mr Mohammad said.<\/p>\n

“She was just screaming, crying, yelling. She had some scratches and that on the legs. Looked like she’d been pulled around, dragged around and that.”<\/p>\n

Rescuers then found the second backpacker, who was seriously injured, and the pair were flown to Flinders Medical Centre. One of the victims was released from hospital on Thursday morning, while the other is listed as stable.<\/h3>\n

Travelling to the scene of the alleged attack, FIVEAA news director Matthew Pantelis spoke with other backpackers travelling through the area who said they didn’t feel safe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe tried to find some place to rest at night,\u201d Brazilian backpacker Roberta said. \u201cWe don\u2019t feel safe here because there is no one, we can’t see anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said they had stopped a rest area near Meningie on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
