Speaking on FIVEAA breakfast, state opposition leader Steven Marshall has slammed the Weatherill government for having no plan to create jobs and described the new employment minister as \u201chopelessly inadequate\u201d.<\/h3>\n

\u201cUnfortunately when the reshuffle was done by Jay Weatherill, he had an opportunity to elevate employment to a substantial front bencher \u2013 he gave it to Kyam Maher,\u201d Mr Marshall said.<\/p>\n

\u201cKyam Maher has proven himself to be hopelessly inadequate in his existing portfolios, and now they\u2019ve been augmented by what is clearly the most important portfolio in South Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Marshall attacked Mr Maher\u2019s recent answer when questioned about the government\u2019s plan to create jobs.<\/h3>\n

\u201cHe said, \u2018I\u2019m waiting for a briefing from the department.\u2019 It\u2019s almost impossible to believe.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t have a plan,\u201d said Mr Marshall.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we really need to see from this government is a strategy to create sustainable long term jobs in South Australia,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
