I think it\u2019s important that it be done here \u2013 it sends a very clear signal that as a community we think this is so important,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LISTEN to Senator Nick Xenophon here (9:20):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/236375763&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Meanwhile the mother of a youth who died from a drug overdose at a music festival in Victoria in 2012 is campaigning to have pill testing facilities setup at festivals like Stereosonic.<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThese are preventable deaths,\u201d Adriana Buccianti has told FIVEAA. \u201dIf we had pill testing services they would test the substance, you would know exactly what was in them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An online petition created by Ms Buccianti&nbsp;calling for pill testing&nbsp;has attracted more than 30,000 signatures.<\/p>\n<p>She said illicit drugs were \u201cmade by scumbags to make lots of money and they know what goes in them \u2013 it\u2019s rubbish.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>LISTEN to Adriana Buccianti here:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/236380902&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not saying it\u2019s ok.
