Crows caretaker coaching director John Worsfold has spoken to Essendon, reports Caro Wilson.<\/h3>\n

\u201cHe does clearly seem to have had a change of heart,\u201d Caro said of Worsfold on the FIVEAA sports show.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the week Worsfold said he was warming to the idea of returning to coaching, having previously ruled it out.<\/p>\n

\u201cEssendon are telling people that he (Worsfold) has spoken to Paul Little (Essendon chairman) and indicated he\u2019s keen to coach again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought that was really interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caro said Worsfold had an Essendon connection through good friend and former teammate Murray Rance.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing that is in Adelaide\u2019s favour if they\u2019re keen to keep him\u2026 is that Essendon are not going to rush into this.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve learnt the hard way from rushing into decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Caro said Worsfold could be the kind of coach Essendon would target.<\/p>\n

\u201cEssendon players have said, ‘We don\u2019t want a young, inexperienced coach. We want an older, tougher, more experienced coach.’\u201d<\/p>\n
