David Penberthy on FIVEAA described the hit and run death of a family man as \u201cone of the worst stories to happen in SA for sometime\u201d.<\/h3>\n

Kieren Hayward, 45, was killed in front of his two young children while on Beovich Road, Ingle Farm, last Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a horrendous thing,\u201d said Mayor of Salisbury Gillian Aldridge on FIVEAA Breakfast.<\/p>\n

Ms Aldridge said the notorious stretch of road would be looked at as a priority.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also have problems with people who speed along there, and it doesn\u2019t matter what\u2019s there\u2026 they\u2019re not caring about the way they drive.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s the scary thing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever we do, there will always be that human element. We\u2019ve got to do the best we can to make sure it\u2019s a safe as we can possibly make it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
