I just don\u2019t think they spend enough time doing it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just don\u2019t think once the season starts they work on it with match intensity. They\u2019re trying to preserve the players.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think they train hard enough. I know they train scientifically, there\u2019s no doubt about that, [but] I don\u2019t think with enough intensity.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN TO GRAHAM CORNES HERE:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/264353589&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Cornes said despite advances in technology, players still get injuries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor all the cosseting that they get from the sports scientists and the training staff and all the things that they\u2019ve got in place\u2026 they\u2019re still getting injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cornes said Adelaide\u2019s midfield needed attention after its 16-point loss to Geelong on Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir midfield was impotent,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCam Ellis-Yolman has to come back in to the equation. He hasn\u2019t played consistently since Scott Camporeale departed [as senior coach]. I don\u2019t know why that is.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I would\u2019ve thrown Mitch McGovern into the middle.
