It\u2019s not like it\u2019s in another decade or another lifetime, it\u2019s happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>LISTEN TO MARTIN HAESE HERE:<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/259590069&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Lord Mayor denied there was an agenda to push cars out of the CBD.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no plan whatsoever to ban or reduce the number of vehicles in the city,\u201d he said. \u201cI think the discussion is a lot more about \u2013 not vehicles \u2013 [but] how vehicles are powered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Lord Mayor Martin Haese | FIVEAA\" title=\"Lord Mayor Martin Haese | FIVEAA\" height=\"400\" width=\"700\" class=\"media-element file-default nova-lazyload-image-wrapper lz-cont img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/haese-in-studio.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Mr Haese spoke glowingly of discount electric car available on pre-order in the US called the Tesla 3.<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThey have taken 325,000 pre-orders in something like a month. That is incredible. I think electric cars are coming our way, and they\u2019re coming our way quicker than we all think.
