\u201cI don\u2019t think the SANFL had any option but to do the bailout, but some acknowledgment and appreciation would be nice.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cornes said the majority of Power supporters preferred to focus on the years a strong Port Adelaide sustained the SANFL.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know there were some attitudes around the Port Adelaide board table at the time that \u2018the SANFL will bail us out, the AFL will pay our bills.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was really that \u2018we didn\u2019t really care\u2019 attitude.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said it was time Port Adelaide fans said \u201cthank you\u201d.<\/p>\n
