Mark Robinson has piled on top of the AFL after the commission copped heavy criticism last week for allowing one of the banned Essendon 34 to hold a job at the Western Bulldogs as a welfare officer.<\/h3>\n

\u201cOnce again the AFL\u2019s embarrassed themselves this week, absolutely embarrassed themselves,\u201d Robinson told Rowey and Bicks on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cJeff Kennett called the AFL commission and Gillon McLachlan a basket case \u2013 I don\u2019t disagree.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robbo took aim at the \u201cludicrous situation\u201d where Brent Prismall \u2013 suspended by WADA \u2013 was still allowed to work at the Bulldogs in a welfare role.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe AFL was told by ASADA he couldn\u2019t work there, and the Bulldogs said the AFL told them he could. What a joke.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robbo said the AFL\u2019s argument that Prismall\u2019s role at the Bulldogs didn\u2019t directly effect players was \u201crubbish\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy have a welfare officer who\u2019s not going to help them with their football?\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s what they do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robbo said Bulldogs chairman Peter Gordon claimed to have written permission from AFL regarding Prismall\u2019s job at the club \u2013 Prismall has since been dismissed \u2013 but wouldn\u2019t say exactly from whom.<\/p>\n

\u201cMore egg on the face for the AFL,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s just a crazy situation.\u201d<\/p>\n
