Malcolm Turnbull\u2019s new look cabinet features an exciting lineup, says SA Senator Simon Birmingham who has been appointed Minister for Education.<\/h3>\n

\u201cI think this is an exciting ministerial lineup under a leader who\u2019s got very strong and passionate vision,\u201d Mr Birmingham told FIVEAA Breakfast.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve gone from two women around the cabinet table to five women. We\u2019ve got the nation\u2019s first female defence minister.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a number of new faces but there\u2019s still plenty of experience,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Downplaying possible divisions in the party after the leadership spill, Mr Birmingham said there were some members promoted to the cabinet who had supported Tony Abbott.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019ve seen a good shakeup,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
