FIVEAA today announced Jane Reilly\u2019s decision to depart from her role on FIVEAA\u2019s Breakfast show.<\/h3>\n

After three years as part of FIVEAA\u2019s breakfast team with David Penberthy and Mark Aiston, Jane has made the decision to finish on breakfast radio at the end of this year to \u2018take time to smell the roses\u2019 and enjoy more personal time with her family and friends.<\/p>\n

Jane Reilly said \u201cOver the past 4 decades I\u2019ve always put work first. Now it\u2019s time to put my family and friends first. While I\u2019ll miss waking up with the Breakfast team, having more sleep is definitely more enticing!\u201d<\/p>\n

Neil O\u2019Reilly, FIVEAA General Manager said, \u201cJane has been an important part of the FIVEAA Breakfast team and, although we will be sad to see her go, after three years of early starts we appreciate her decision to take time out to explore the world with her partner. We wish her well on her next exciting adventure and although Jane won\u2019t be returning to breakfast, she will remain a part of the FIVEAA family and will have a role with the station when she returns to Adelaide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jane Reilly has enjoyed a distinguished media career spanning over 40 years. She was the face of Adelaide\u2019s Network Ten News and Weather for 17 years and won a TV Week Logie Award for Most Popular Female Personality in 1984. Outside of her media career, Jane is an ambassador for Port Power and Variety SA, and has worked on projects for the Royal Society for the Blind, the Royal Flying Doctors Service and St John Ambulance. In August this year, Jane received an Order of Australia Medal for service to the broadcast media and to charitable groups.<\/p>\n

Jane will remain with the FIVEAA Breakfast team for the remainder of 2015 and an announcement on the 2016 line up will be made in due course.<\/p>\n
