FIVEAA\u2019s Stephen Rowe was happy to see Rory Sloane return for the Crows, but he asked Head of Football David Noble why it was Matt Crouch who had to make way.<\/h3>\n

\u201cWho else?\u201d Noble replied on the FIVEAA sports show.<\/p>\n

He said Crouch hadn\u2019t done anything wrong, but someone had to make way.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got a best and fairest winner, senior leadership group, desperate to put his hand up, hasn\u2019t been able to over the previous couple of weeks and he deserves to come back into the side.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not saying that Matt\u2019s done anything wrong\u2026 that\u2019s the way football works at times.<\/p>\n

\u201cRory\u2019s an a-grade quality midfielder that needs to come into the side and unfortunately he\u2019s taken Matty\u2019s spot.<\/p>\n

Asked whether he thought Crouch was unlucky to lose his spot in the team, Noble said: \u201cOf course I do.\u201d<\/p>\n
