Shane Watson will be dropped, reports Fairfax<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\u201cWe\u2019ll see what the wicket\u2019s like and see what the make up of the final 11 will be,\u201d Aussie coach Boof Lehmann told Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA. <\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the same for everyone in the touring party,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
But Watson is under more pressure than most, having been dismissed LBW in both innings in the first test, meaning he has now been given out LBW 14 times in 19 Ashes tests.<\/p>\n
Boof said Watson was \u201ca bit down on himself\u201d for letting the team down \u2013 \u201cthat\u2019s the whole group, that\u2019s not just Shane\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s doing everything he can behind the scenes to get it right. It was disappointing, he got starts in both innings, and he needs to convert those starts,\u201d Boof said.<\/p>\n
Asked why Watson hadn\u2019t bowled more overs, Boof deferred to Michael Clarke.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought he might\u2019ve bowled a bit more, but at the end of the day that\u2019s the skipper\u2019s call,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
