When Rory Sloane joined Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA, the boys asked Rory how much consideration he\u2019d given to interest from other clubs<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cNone at all,\u201d Rory said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was strong with my manager and I was clear with the club the whole time that I was never entertaining other offers. It was just the Adelaide footy club.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c(Rory\u2019s fianc\u00e9e) Belinda and I always knew where we sat and the club knew where we sat for a long time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suppose things got blown out a bit with a bit of media stuff but that\u2019s all part of it as well, I suppose.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rory said he was loving the direction the Crows were heading in, but there were some things \u201caway from footy\u201d he and Belinda had to consider before re-signing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got engaged last year, and just a bit of thought about where our family will be in a few years time\u2026 that\u2019s obviously being away from both our parents and family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rory said Adelaide would be a \u201cbeautiful place to start a little family at some stage\u201d.<\/p>\n

On Monday the Crows announced Rory had signed a three-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until at least the end of 2018.<\/p>\n
