Penbo on reports the Islamic College\u2019s curriculum has taken a turn for the worse.<\/h3>\n

There are reports the Islamic College of South Australia has stopped playing the Australian national anthem and is prohibiting students from playing the piano.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf that is the case, that kind of extremist nonsense is straight out of the Taliban playbook,\u201d David Penberthy said on FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

He said practices like that have \u201cno place in our society\u201d and \u201call of us have a right to ask questions about this\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe as tax payers are underwriting this school through our taxes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Penbo said if mainstream standards are not being upheld, \u201cI don\u2019t think the school should be receiving a cent\u201d.<\/p>\n
