Aid isn\u2019t getting to some of Nepal\u2019s hardest hit victims.<\/h3>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s so much of the country that\u2019s just in totally remote areas,\u201d Emma Taylor told Jeremy Cordeaux on FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

Emma is co-founder of the Sunrise Children’s Association and is currently in Nepal assisting after the devastating earthquake.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsiderable amount of damage has been done which we\u2019ve heard about through word of mouth, but are very inaccessible,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re very desperate to get aid, but it\u2019s just really difficult logistically for people to get it there.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re kind of suffering the most.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time of interview, the Nepalese government had confirmed more than 5,500 casualties, with the likelihood of a death toll reaching up to 10,000 in the weeks to come.<\/p>\n
