Peter Oyloe from Save the Children reports from Nepal after earthquake.<\/h3>\n

\u201cThis is one of the major trekking seasons of Nepal,\u201d Mr Oyloe told FIVEAA breakfast.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is especially the peak season for climbing and summiting mountains.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe aftershocks have caused a bit of panic among people but also hampered rescue operations. But we are all doing what we can,\u201d Mr Oyloe said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a really big concern because a lot of the trekkers and climbers are out there.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe resources available just to make sure everyone is taken care of are not very high. We\u2019re trying to focus more on those that are in the more remote districts and the ones that are most at need.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Oyloe said rescuing trekkers was a focus for the local government and other agencies.<\/p>\n
