The AFL\u2019s anti-doping tribunal recently found 34 past and present Essendon players not guilty of charges relating to the club\u2019s 2012 supplements program.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe more we hear about it\u2026 the more disappointed I am at how badly James Hird and the Essendon footy club have been treated,\u201d Cornes said.<\/p>\n
Cornes was especially critical of past comments from Caroline Wilson that James Hird was \u201cincompetent and na\u00efve to the point of delusional\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow all these years later James Hird has been vindicated,\u201d Cornes said.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can go back and see many, many instances of that sort of comment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
