Mark Carol from the Police Association says members are frustrated by savings the government has demanded of Commissioner Gary Burns.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know that he has to find $216 million in savings demanded by the Government over the next four years,\u201d he told FIVEAA breakfast.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think it\u2019s nonsense to suggest that that has to be found without cutting services.\u201d<\/p>\n
Planned cuts include a reduction in metro traffic police and reorganisation of crime scene investigators.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are some benefits in relation to that, but we will see a reduction in some of that human resource.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd we know there\u2019s a lack of detail in relation to how the new structure\u2019s going to work.\u201d<\/p>\n
