Patrick Dangerfield offers an insight into Crows coach Phil Walsh.<\/h3>\n

On Fox Footy on Monday night Phil Walsh was asked whether he\u2019d spoken to Dangerfield about contract negotiations.<\/p>\n

His answer was perfect. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve got a pretty simple line with the Patrick Dangerfield stuff,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m basically not going to answer it.\u201d<\/p>\n

And that was that.<\/p>\n

Dangerfield told FIVEAA breakfast what he thought about the exchange.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s an absolute professional Walshy. If you\u2019re a journalist and you think you can trick him, you\u2019re certainly mistaken.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also had a laugh about Walsh\u2019s rule about not texting him after 8pm.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t mind sending him an email or a text at sort of 7:58, 7:59 though, that does stir him up a bit I must admit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Danger said he\u2019d messaged Walsh on one occasion at about 8:15pm and \u201cdidn\u2019t get a return text until about three o\u2019clock in the morning\u201d.<\/p>\n
