By Leon Byner<\/strong><\/p>\n The sale of the Kidman beef empire to likely overseas interests is a matter of great concern.<\/p>\n Yes, the owners or shareholders of a company should have the right to dispose of their own property\u2026 But there\u2019s a wider interest here.<\/p>\n If a sovereign buyer such as China were to purchase the asset, the acquisition would be strategic. China is feeding itself \u2013 not anyone else.
