Angus Monfries is moving on from Essendon\u2019s 2012 supplement saga.<\/h3>\n

The small forward moved to Port Adelaide in 2013 but was at Essendon in 2012 when that club implemented its controversial supplements program.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a long drawn out process with all the things that\u2019ve gone on in 2012,\u201d Monfries told FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor there to be a resolution a couple of weeks ago was really good and pleasing and everyone\u2019s able to move on from it now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The AFL anti-doping tribunal found 34 past and present Essendon players not guilty of doping.<\/p>\n

Monfries and Paddy Ryder \u2013 another former Bomber now at the Power \u2013 sat out this year\u2019s NAB Challenge while they waited on the verdict.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously you can\u2019t really replicate an AFL intensity game through training,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

But Monfries said fitness coach Darren Burgess had ensured training was close as possible to match conditions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think fitness-wise we were up to standard, it\u2019s just the pressure and the finer things in games you cant really replicate in training.\u201d<\/p>\n
