\u201cI would\u2019ve thought most young blokes would be more ashamed of getting caught drink driving than having a bit of coke in their system,\u201d Leigh told Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think anyone is going to be incredibly shamed by that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Leigh said drink driving was considered more shameful because society was better educated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know people still drive and people still get caught drink driving, but that is a total idiot.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I drive when I\u2019ve been drinking, I\u2019m a total idiot,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m for zero tolerance in the sense the first offence, or the first time you get caught, you get a penalty.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t think it has to be a massive one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leigh said a fine or reprimand or short suspension could be adequate.<\/p>\n
