Jackson Trengove says Port Adelaide isn’t about to change the way it plays.

In the final minutes of the club’s round one loss to Fremantle, two Power players – Jake Neade and Jasper Pittard – were caught trying to take on the game.

“I think you live with those mistakes,” Trengove told Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA.

“I think if blokes are trying to take the game on and win the game for us, at times it’s not going to always roll your way.

“Next week the same thing might happen and the boys might get away with it and pull it off,” he said.

Trengove said it was important to ensure a game didn’t get to the point where the result hinged on one or two moves.

“If we had’ve kicked straight or played a little bit better footy in the first half, we probably could’ve got out to a bit more of a bigger lead.

“And then those things wouldn’t have mattered at all,” he said.
