Mick Malthouse says comments made by former Blue and now Brisbane Lion Mitch Robinson were \u201ctotally disrespectful\u201d.<\/h3>\n

On Monday Robinson said that Carlton had considered the Lions \u201ca walkover\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI coached Collingwood to two losing Grand Finals against Brisbane and I have the highest and utmost respect for the organisation,\u201d Mick told Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know my playing group have similar feelings to me. It is always difficult to win up there, you have to have great respect for them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always have problems with players that go to another club, can the club, can the coach, make outrageous statements,\u201d Mick said.<\/p>\n

Mick said that Robinson\u2019s departure from Carlton was the right move. <\/p>\n

\u201cBecause quite frankly I wouldn\u2019t put up with anyone who does not have respect and, secondly, tells absolutely porkies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got a habit of making statements and he\u2019s got to think about what he says. That\u2019s one of the things we had a problem with down in Melbourne, you just can\u2019t afford to be like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
