\u201cI don\u2019t have a view,\u201d Mr. Scarce told David, Mark and Jane on FIVEAA breakfast.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can see the economic issues for it, but I also see the enormous challenges, the safety challenge and the challenge of trying to make something like a nuclear industry work for a small state,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Mr. Scarce said he expected to have an opinion at the end of the commission.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think at the end of the year though I\u2019d be expecting to come down with a conclusion based upon all the evidence we draw in that year.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr. Scarce said the commission would be an \u201copen and evidence-based enquiry\u201d and would visit the entire state \u201cto ensure that everybody has a say\u201d.<\/p>\n
