{"id":33303,"date":"2015-03-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-16T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/uncategorized\/90-million-dollar-festival-centre-facelift\/"},"modified":"2015-03-16T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-03-16T00:00:00","slug":"90-million-dollar-festival-centre-facelift","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.fiveaa.com.au\/show\/90-million-dollar-festival-centre-facelift\/","title":{"rendered":"$90m Festival Centre facelift"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Adelaide Festival Centre CEO says revamp is much needed.<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cTo keep the big shows coming we need to be state of the art,\u201d Douglas Gautier told FIVEAA. \u201cThat\u2019s what this investment will do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want world-class arts and entertainment, you\u2019ve got to have world-class facilities to back it up,\u201d Mr. Gautier said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat this $90 million does is really deal with some of those issues inside and out and fully integrates the Festival Centre with the whole precinct plan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Gautier said the outside of the centre is \u201cworse for wear\u201d and a lot of the technical aspects date back to the building\u2019s construction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the biggest reinvestment in the centre since 1973.
