Adelaide CEO Andrew Fagan puts new agreement in perspective.<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not like a windfall,\u201d Mr. Fagan told Rowey and Bicks on FIVEAA.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe drive far greater amounts of revenue through our commercial business, through our great membership support,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He described the additional money the club will earn from Adelaide Oval as an \u201cimportant piece of upside\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt returns us to the position that we should\u2019ve been in give the revenues that were being driven through the venue.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe key was to get close to 70 cents in the dollar returned to the clubs. We pretty much got there.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re happy with the outcome,\u201d Mr. Fagan said.<\/p>\n

The new deal will enable the club to invest about another one million dollars into its football department, as well as extra money into membership programs and the match day experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got to continue to drive revenues right across the business.\u201d<\/p>\n
